About me
Drawing from a background in community work and the experience of growing up biculturally, I understand the importance of finding a sense of belonging in a society that has not traditionally been inclusive. I come to each session with genuine curiosity, warmth and humor and I strive to create a space where you can fully explore and process your thoughts, feelings and experiences, without judgment.
MY APPROACH
-

RELATIONAL
I practice from a relational lens, which means I see the therapeutic relationship itself as a space where patterns can gently show up and be explored together, with curiosity rather than judgment. Through this process, I can better understand how you experience connection, trust, and vulnerability in real time.
-

PSYCHODYNAMIC
So much happens in our early lives - both positive and negative - that shape who we are today. Rather than just focusing on symptoms, we explore the “why” underneath them— connecting the dots between your history and what’s coming up now. This isn’t about getting stuck in the past, but about understanding it in a way that gives you more clarity, choice, and freedom in the present.
-

MULTICULTURAL
I pay close attention to how culture, family systems, immigration history, and lived experience influence how you see yourself and how social forces shape your experience of the world. Together, we explore both the visible and subtle ways these experiences show up in your relationships, self-expectations, and emotional life.
